Terms of Service

By using Stang ("the app"), you agree to these terms. The app is operated by SMBee (smbee.me). Please read them carefully.

Using Stang

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Stang.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You agree to use the app only for lawful personal finance tracking purposes.
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.

Free trial & paid plans

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial of Stang Pro, no credit card required. After the trial, your account continues on the free plan and some features require Stang Pro.

Stang Pro is $3.99 per month, $19.99 per year, or $49.99 as a one-time lifetime purchase. These are the web checkout prices in USD; purchases made inside the iPhone app are priced by the App Store in your local currency and may differ. Web payments are processed by Stripe; in-app purchases are processed by Apple.

Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you keep Pro through the end of any period you have already paid for. Cancel a web subscription from Settings; cancel an App Store subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. The lifetime purchase is a single payment and does not renew.

Your data

You own your data. We store it securely on your behalf — see our Privacy Policy for full details. You can export everything as CSV on any plan, and you can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings in the app, or by emailing hello@smbee.me.

Service availability

We aim to keep Stang available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime or data loss, though we take reasonable precautions to prevent both.

Stang is a personal finance tracking tool. It does not provide financial, tax, legal, or immigration advice. Day counts, currency conversions, and any residency-related figures are estimates for your own information only — they are not a substitute for professional advice and should not be relied on for official filings or visa decisions. Currency conversions use live exchange rates and should not be used for official financial transactions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll notify users of significant changes by email or in-app notice.
